EPISODE 3 // Farewell to Shindig, Welcome Bedroom Pop and Power Pop.

Egad. I have missed posting 1 or 2 shows tracklistings. My apologies, but my work on Andean Religion during the Early Colonial Period (HIST 458) took precedence, as did assessing the usefulness of functional behavioural assessments in the classroom(EDUC 200). This week we will wrap up our attention of the annual Shindig Battle of the Bands contest, playing tracks from the winners and the runner up, dig through the town of Bellingham, a city often overlooked by myself as I swoon over the music emerging from Olympia and Anacortes in the state just below ourselves, and hear a track from Michael O’Conell of Culture Reject, a fellow on a curious tour through the United States. That and more, kicked of to a healthy start by a trio of power pop tunes from Bend Sinister, Adaline, and Said The Whale. It’s Pop Music From Around Here!
