2010 Abbotsford School District Third Annual Battle of the Bands

CIVL Radio proudly participated in the School District Third Annual 34 Battle of the Bands this past Wednesday, June 19, 2010. The bands were provided with workshops on how to break into the music business, registering music with SOCAN and how to receive funding from FACTOR grants from a panel of music industry professionals.

Congratulations go to the winners, Radioactive Babies 2.0, as well as the First Runner-Up, Ivory Coast and Second Runner-Up, Birch Taxis. Congratulations also go to Lyndsay Rose Nyuli for winning Best Vocalist and Black Tooth Grin for Best Guitarist.
