Street Sisters Fundraiser - Thursday December 17th 2009
Monday, December 14th, 2009Hey everyone! This Thursday night at the Rickshaw theatre in Vancouver, there will be a fundraiser for a documentary about nine indigenous females who are trying to overcome homelessness and addiction. The fundraiser is set to kick off at 7:30pm December the 17th and there will be music, art auctions, dance and more! The music will be provided by five indigenous artists including Inez Point who is from Chilliwack! The other performers are Leela Gilday, Sheila Maracle, Rex Smallboy and Curtis Ahenakew. Tickets are by donation with the minimum donation being $25.00 at the door. Or get a pre-sale ticket from one of the filmmakers or online for $27.62.
