Abbotsford, BC - Every Thurs evening from July 8 to Aug 12, Jubilee Park will be the scene of great local independent music performers including local stars The Magician and the Gates of Love (TMATGOL), Oh No! Yoko (ON!Y) and You Say Party! (YSP!).

Just go ahead and google the phrase “you say party” and you will find a plethora of positive content for the dance-punk group called YSP! Hailing from Abbotsford and even still living in town, YSP! has had appearances on CBC Radio One’s The Q, MTV Canada, National Post, Abby News, Exclaim and so much more. They have also toured the world spreading the positive vibes that Abbotsford has to offer and YSP! has made the long list for the Polaris Music Prize.
On a more sombre note, you will also find nuggets of less rad news such as the recent loss of Devon Clifford who who is no longer with us. The reappearance by YSP! at Jam In Jubilee will be as Devon would have wanted it to be, which is the continuance of YSP! albeit with a slightly altered name.
YSP! will be performing at the Jam In Jubilee on Thurs, July 29 at 9 p.m. Click here for a link to the facebook event.

Oh No! Yoko (ON!Y)
ON!Y is gaining notoriety in the lower mainland from exposure on CBC Radio One’s program On The Coast (click here); at the performing arts festival Music Waste in Vancouver; in Discorder Magazine (UBC’s campus radio magazine); and within the local media.
One of the raddest things about the fine lads of ON!Y is that they are nearing their graduation from highschool. It will be quite the triggering moment for the already blossoming music careers of ON!Y. So we all should keep our eyes peeled for the many accomplishments to come from ON!Y.
Catch ON!Y live at Jam In Jubilee on the final Thursday night, Aug 12 at 9 p.m. Click here for the facebook event.
